Obituary - At the residence 5010 St. Charles Avenue on Monday, April 30 1945, at 12:40 p. m. Joseph Vaccaro , Sr., husband of the late Lena Mustacchia, beloved father of John, L.J., Felix, and Joseph Vaccaro, R. Mrs. S. D'Antoni, Mrs. Anna Havener, Mrs. R. C. Lally and the late Steven Vaccaro. also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, aged 89 years. A native of Contessa Entellina, Italy and a resident of New Orleans for the past 77 years. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 1945, at 10:45 a.m. from the late residence 5010 St. Charles Avenue. Requiem high mass at St. Stephen's church. Interment in Metairie cemetery. Funeral and interment-strictly private.
