Note: Obituary-Borrello - Joseph A. Borrello, an audio-video reporter for Borrello Court Reporters Inc., died Friday of a heart attack at East Jefferson General Hospital. He was 55. Mr. Borrello was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He was a graduate of John McDonogh Senior High School and the New Orleans School of Court Reporting. He was a former employee of the City of New Orleans Department of Property Management and the Jackson Brewing Co. He was a former parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, a former softball coach at Bunny Friend, Digby, Union Park, Kerry Curley and Jefferson Davis playgrounds, and a member of the Carrollton Softball Association. He was in the Marine Corps for six years. Survivors include his wife, Betty Daigle Borrello; his mother, Calogera DiCorte Borrello; two sons, Peter J. and Jervis J. Borrello; a daughter, Trenell B. Morales; three brothers, A. Charles, Vincent P. and Peter P. Borrello; and two grandchildren. A Mass will be said Monday at 1 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Burial will be in All Saints Mausoleum, Metairie. Times Picayune 09-29-1991
