Mustacchia, Margarite Catherine (b. 8 Feb 1920, d. 28 Feb 2005)

Note: Marguerite Catherine Mustacchia passed away on February 28, 2005. Born February 8, 1920 in Algiers to her now deceased, parents, Nicholas Frank Mustacchia Sr. and Catherine DiGiovanni Mustacchia. Marguerite was the eldest of six children and was preceded in death by brothers, Nick, Jr. and Ralph and his wife Lorraine, and brother-in-law, Al Schroeder. She is survived by her sisters, Marilyn M. Edwards of Naples, FL, Helen Schroeder and Doris Chapoton of Slidell, brothers-in-law, Robert Edwards and Pat Chapoton, sister-in-law, Emily Priest Mustacchia of Houston, TX, 7 nieces, 6 nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews, and long time friends, Theresa (Tessie) Donner, and Gloria Sperier Mason. Marguerite devoted her life to her parents and siblings. After graduating from Behrman High School in 1937, she was employed in a WPA program, and by the U.S. Naval Station ŲX Algiers, the Louisiana Insurance Bureau and the Veterans Administration. She retired in 1982. Marguerite resided in Algiers until moving to Gentilly in 1951 where she resided until moving to Slidell in 1994 and was a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
