Vitu/ Vito Manale age 44, a widow, in the 1920 US census of New Orleans, living on Rampart Street. He is in ED 99 Page 1A. With him is his daughter Margaret age 16, son Nicholas 13, Mary 11, and Lillian age 8. His name is written as Vietu or Vieto Manale. He was naturalized in 1904. The year of his arrival is a bit dim, but it I think it is 1894. All his children were born in New Orleans. Next door to Vitu is Pietro Ciaccio age 42, wife Laura, 40 and nephew Giuseppe Sciambra 19, and niece Laura Manale age 11.
Peter was born in Louisiana, his wife in Sicily, his nephew in Louisiana and niece in Texas.

It is interesting to note that the origin of Ben and his wife and first son is listed as Sicily and that they speak Greek. This would be because they spoke the Albanian of Contessa Entellina, and most probably were of the Greco church of Contessa.
