With him is his wife Pellegrina and children Chris, Katie , Mary, Vincent Joe, Annie, Lena, Albert, Anthony, Lillie, Anthony and Santa. Angelo is listed as a truck farmer who came to the US in 1903. Angelo married at age 20 and Pellegrina at age 14.
From Joseph Monistere, July 19, 2002 "The story as I know it is that My grandfather Angelo and his brother Joe left Italy because Vincent Nicolosi had immigrated to America. They followed Vincent because of their interest in his daughters, Pelegrina and Ninfa. Angelo married Pelegrina and Joe married Ninfa. Vincent had at least three sons, Paul, Sam and Ignatius(Lee). Sam lived in New Orleans and most of descendants live here. Paul lived in Hammond and had one son and three daughters. Lee owned and ran a grocery store in Hammond for years. Vincent had founded the store and Lee took it over when his father retired. The original building on Thomas Street in Hammond still has the Nicolosi name that Vincent had set in stone when it was built. Lee was my great uncle on my father's side. He married Antonia Milioto who was the oldest daughter of Vincent and Lucy (Guagliardo) Milioto. The catch here is that two years after Lee and Antonia were married Lucy Milioto gave birth to her TENTH (that right 10 girls, NO boys) daughter, Josephine who married Angelo's son Joe. Joe and Josephine were my parents. So Lee was also my uncle on my mother's side. "
