To Create a Bootable MaxBlast 5 CD (Install MaxBlast V5 on your computer first) On main screen click create bootable media. All of these associated files are available at the club meetings on a CD (using MaxBlast V5 build 11.0.0.8145, also have MaxBlast V5 11.0.0.4999 (help files - dw_ug.en.pdf - mb_ug.en.pdf)). You can also download these files from Maxtor or Seagate. You must have one Maxtor or Seagate to use MaxBlast V5. You can also buy Acronis and use with any supported drive.

Follow screen below:

 

 

Select both Safe and Full versions. Click next.

On left select Bootable media startup.

 

 

Enter a command-line parameter (See for details: dw_ug.en.pdf for a complete list of parameters). In dw_ug_en.pdf see: Appendix C. Startup Parameters. pci=bios worked on my desktop, this may take some experimenting. . Whether or not you have entered a command-line entry, click next.

 

Click Proceed. (If you are receiving and error, device is busy, put the new CD in the drive and leave the drive open until you see as in the screen above, processing please wait.. Then push the disk in or press the button on the drive to close it.)

Restoring an Image Backup:

Select Image Backup Restore.

Select Image Restore

 

Select Next

 

On left select your backup drive. Click on the + (plus) next to on the left of the drive. Scroll down and find your backup image. Select this image (click on it). Click next
